What is it?
Romería Cuir is an LGTBIQ+ cultural and sports festival. We want these four days to combine sport with cultural experiences created by the community, all through the lens of rural Asturias. What is hidden and unseen has a much harder time becoming part of society on equal terms. That is why visibility and public-space presence by the community in rural areas are even more necessary.
About us
Romería Cuir is an Asturian LGTBIQ+ cultural, sports, and recreational association.
The association was founded on December 12, 2023 with the goal of creating an annual event where rural life, sport, diversity, folklore, garters, a spirit of activism, and the joy of gathering all come together.
